A full supply package for a private house — from upholstered furniture to the outdoor area. Brand equivalents of Boca do Lobo, Baxter, Visionnaire, Roberto Cavalli and Meridiani. The house was still being built and we furnished the interior in parallel. Several containers, delivered in sequence, with a personal manager at every stage.
The client’s brief
A house ‘to live in, for yourself’ — a different level of attention to detail
The clients came to MBL while the house was still being built — the interior began to take shape in parallel with the house itself. They already had a finished design project and a clear sense of the style: premium luxury with complex forms and statement pieces.
Clients named five brands as their reference points: Boca do Lobo, Baxter, Visionnaire, Roberto Cavalli, Meridiani. The project had no separate furnishing designer — the MBL team took on all the work of selecting furniture, materials, shades and textures.
The project started entirely in the online format — it was the pandemic period and there was simply no other option. It is an example of how Luxury-level furnishing is done without the client travelling to China: video calls, photo reports, stage-by-stage approvals.

Starting at the construction stage
The clients came with a finished design project and reference brands. We agreed the style and selected the key furniture items.
Main furniture
The first container held the main furniture that shapes the interior and sets its character. Textures and colours were selected to the actual dimensions of the rooms.
Lead time 60–70 days
Non-standard pieces made to individual dimensions. Production control, photo and video reports from the factories at every stage.
Outdoor furniture
Once the grounds and the exterior were ready — a separate container with furniture for the terrace, sun loungers and garden tables.
Decor, textiles, additional furnishing
As they lived in the house, the clients came back for accessories, textiles and bed linen. Every stage was a logical addition to the package rather than a rush.
Where the difficulties were: the story of the dining chairs
A claim arose on this project over the dining chairs. We logged the problem, brought in the factory — and the factory remade the piece completely. In the end the client received new chairs at no additional cost.
It matters to us not to disappear once the goods are shipped. Difficulties do arise when working with Chinese factories — that is entirely normal. The difference lies in who takes on resolving them. We see a project through to the result, even when disputes come up.
This is not a story about saving at any cost. It is a story about a considered choice of level, quality and approach. And when you see the result in person, it is clear what the money was spent on. In Russia and Europe a comparable furnishing package at designer showrooms costs 2.5–4 times more.
