The Chekhov Hotel in Taganrog. Everything was ordered through MBL: wall panels, a marble staircase, case and upholstered furniture, kitchens, wardrobes, the full bathroom fit-out, sanitary ware, lighting, decor, curtains, bed linen, towels, bathrobes and slippers.

The first thing a guest sees. The materials, the lighting and the furniture were put together as a single composition.
Several pattern options: each room was given its own character, while staying within the single style of the hotel.

Furnishing coordinator Aydana kept in touch with the factories and, where needed, arranged meetings with manufacturers on the client’s behalf.

Eighteen rooms is not a single flat but a large property with many repeating and individual items at the same time. Working independently with different manufacturers, production and delivery schedules drift apart and nobody is responsible for the quality as a whole. Here the entire volume was handled by one team.
