‘The furniture is solid and heavy. We had domestic furniture delivered before — that is light. It took four people to carry this sofa. It was rather heavy to carry in. The table was also extremely hard to bring in — the table weighs around 200 kg.

‘I worked with Olga, my manager. She travelled to the factories and sent me samples and photographs’
Maxim had a design project for the house from an interior designer. It was the designer who suggested the brand Minotti as a reference. We selected an equivalent to fit the existing project.
Manager Olga travelled round the factories in Foshan, looking at furniture samples and samples of materials and fabrics. She sent Maxim photos and videos for approval.
Maxim chose the furniture and fabrics from catalogues, remotely. Olga also selected building materials and porcelain stoneware. A fully online format.
The furniture arrived in November. Maxim had renovation work running at the same time, so the 6 months were a timeline the client himself stretched out, not something on our side. It all arrived without any rush.
In 2022 there was virtually no large-format porcelain stoneware in Moscow — after the sanctions supply categories covered at once. This was one of the key arguments in favour of ordering through China.
Olga found the right format at Chinese factories and it was shipped together with the furniture. That very porcelain stoneware is now on Maxim’s floor, which was impossible to find in Moscow.
We liked how quickly the furniture was delivered. They travelled round the factories promptly. Delivery was even faster than we expected. We will keep working with them.
