Bonaldo Eddy Up Armchair

Eddy's shapes are inspired by the cycling world, the minimalist and inherent graphic spirit of the vintage bicycle.‎ Many of the first prototypes in the history of design were made in bicycle workshops, explains Alain Gilles, who designed the chair, "because there were craftsmen working on the metal structures that served these basic objects of style."‎ The Eddy chair is built according to the same logic that and bicycles, the frame made of a metal tubular structure and the ways in which different parts are connected in a single structure - through "quick fasteners" - are an integral part of the cycling world.‎ The numerous colors from which the metal structure can be made and the countless choices between leather, eco-leather and fabric allow a play of contrast.‎ The armrests can be complemented by side pockets, useful for storing books, magazines or a remote control controls that should always be at hand.‎
