The Herman Miller Eames office chair is an icon of design and functionality. The body consists of 7 layers of molded plywood, covered with veneer from various types of wood. The upholstery is made of expensive leather. The seat cushions are connected using a black zipper sewn along the outer edge. Rubber washers are used for shock absorption. Internal support is provided by built-in rollers and special rings. The chair is not height adjustable. The maximum recommended seat weight for operating the model is 150 kg.
