The Shade luminaire is a modular system consisting of five elements, weighted in series and designed in combination with a rectangular table. Each element has a brushed metal structure surrounding two sheets of glass, which are hand-finished by master glassmakers in the Venice area. While the glass is still liquid and molten, glass shards are added and settle at the top of the plate, creating unique shades. Adjustable LED lighting inside each element adds even more artistry to the glass.
