The Harcourt Empire glass revives the regal architectural form of Harcourt. Created in 1841, the Harcourt collection is the oldest in the Baccarat archive and is renowned for its iconic designs. The Harcourt Empire glass has the same structural lines as the Harcourt glass, but is adorned with exquisite gold decoration. Golden decorative figures are applied with a light hand onto the flat cut of the glass, and the edge and bottom of the glass are decorated with gilded edging.
