Table with metal tips on legs D.847.1 is a reissued version of the table from the Heritage Collection. 70 years have passed since the first release of designer furniture from the architect Giovanni Ponti. The Italian company Molteni & C, in collaboration with Gio Ponti Archives, left the refined shape and masterfully crafted wood as the hallmark of the legendary table. The oval drawer is considered his business card. The tabletop is shaped like an airplane wing and has rounded edges to define the workspace. Paired wooden legs are fastened with a crossbar.
