Desk Molteni Note

This desk is the result of the desire to create a modern product with essential characteristics and very refined aesthetic and technical details, demonstrating Molteni&C's expertise in wood.
The upper part, asymmetrically placed on the structure, has two trays carved into the wooden surface, and the central tray is covered with saddle leather. The wooden back has a pronounced curved shape, which allows it to hold small drawers, also covered in saddle leather. The legs are made using a complex three-dimensional woodworking technique in which grooves are carved into three sides of the piece. The resulting product exhibits a good balance of formal style and elegance, at once modern and linear, yet refined and rich in the detail of a professional cabinetmaker.
