The detail that becomes voluminous is the essence of the design of Goodman, Rodolfo Dordoni's modular seating system.

This design, with a clear 1970s feel, is inspired by the graphic nature of those years, its ability to layer and cross marks, reducing the complexity of things to a few distinctive features. Thus, at Goodman, the quilted stitch mark, typical of Minotti's tailoring processes, draws shadows and light onto the seat, creating the feel of a quilted cross-stitch.

The system is suspended from the floor with exquisite bronze or polished chrome metal legs set back from the edge and a perimeter frame that matches the same finish; The optical effect of the suspension in the Goodman enhances the softness of the seat, offering a super comfortable reception. The volume of the one-piece seat is particularly ergonomic and comfortable thanks to the use of innovative technology: a pocket spring system combined with a layer of multi-density polyurethane padding provides a constant feeling of softness and coziness.

Compactness and softness are combined in one sofa concept, making it suitable for both more formal use and extreme relaxation; from the most traditional configurations to more dynamic ones, made possible by a series of individual components that enliven the living space: end units, corner units, center units, sun loungers. Each element is like a puzzle piece that must be connected to the others to define its creator's own home environment.

The unusual accessory, consisting of a contoured tray covered in saddle leather, perfectly fits the volume of the armrest, like the saddle, making the seating system completely versatile, since the cushion can be turned into a functional coffee table that is always at hand.

On the one hand, the aesthetic detail of tone-on-tone stitching echoes the hallmarks of Minotti craftsmanship, while on the other, the hidden evolution of the design represented by the padding technology and the spacing between stitches is completely new.
