Sofa Minotti Roger

Being a site-specific installation, in each case in accordance with the specific wishes of the customer, the Roger seating system is the result of an open design, created with imagination and individual style in mind.

Extremely versatile, it is designed to suit all planning and usage requirements. Thanks to its eclectic character, it is able to satisfy a wide range of taste preferences, and its extensive range offers an endless variety of design solutions.

Roger was designed by Rodolfo Dordoni in collaboration with Minotti, whose imprint is visible in the soft volumes, refined upholstery and craftsmanship.

The system consists of three types of elements: Roger Suite with a soft seat 101 cm deep; Roger Spring - a one-piece seat of the same depth with an internal insert of pocket springs to ensure the shape of the seat, which is fully quilted on the surface, retains its shape; and finally the Roger Spring Sofà - a version without arms with a depth of only 94 cm.

Elements can be freely customized: high and low backrests, different types of armrests and the possibility of adding elements that act as table tops and containers protruding from the back or at the end, next to the seat. A system, or rather a supersystem, capable of creating countless interpretations and configurations for both residential and hotel spaces.

Roger features a custom profiled aluminum base with a Black Coffee lacquer finish that supports the padding and volumes of the body in dark brown Santos rosewood, black lacquered open-pore ash veneer or Ice, Cappuccino or Moka lacquer, and a front or side open storage compartment lined in satin Brandy aluminum. Two cross slats made of lacquered aluminum in Coffee Black make the joint almost invisible and raise it 13 cm above the floor, giving the seats an airy aesthetic.

The couturier craftsmanship used in the manufacturing process is expressed in the graphic effect of the stitching, the long horizontal lines of which run along the backrests, seat elements and corresponding benches, giving the surfaces an ultra-soft and luxurious look.
