Minotti Shelley Armchair

Differentiating an elegant, formal cubic shape, the Shelley has a linear geometry enhanced by the presence of saddle hide and its precise finishing technique.

The distinctive, inviting volume of the saddle hide accommodates fabric-covered cushions and opens from the front to the sides to reveal an inviting seat, while the back gently hugs the body. The saddle hide also serves to hold the legs together, enveloping them and allowing the top to protrude, ending with a fine decorative detail in a black nickel finish.

The supporting frame exhibits interesting shaping solutions, such as the sloping front legs, slightly open at the sides, or the tight fit of the hide to the base of the chair, which gradually loosens in an elegant tapering effect towards the outside of the top. Tailoring details such as neat stitching define the edges of the cushions, while the back and armrests are designed as three separate elements.

The compact design concept of GamFratesi, which harmoniously combines a structured outer shell and a soft, attractive interior, complemented by the texture of the saddle hide and the fabrics used, has been flawlessly brought to life thanks to the design know-how and sophisticated tailoring techniques that have always been a Minotti hallmark.
