Airy, with design details linked to Japanese tradition, Torii modular chairs play with rounded volumes, thin profiles and the apparent formal simplicity of an extremely detailed design.

The metal structure of the legs of the seats and tables is Nendo's reference to the image of the torii, the entrance gate to Shinto shrines in Japan. Horizontal elements are laid on vertical supports, creating a refined visual lightness, in which a soft volume is integrated, characterized by couture craftsmanship.

The Torii family includes sofas - high or low back, linear in shape, rounded at the armrests - reclining sofas with a combination of two different depths, armchairs and small armchairs for the living and dining areas, ottomans, coffee tables, as well as a graceful oval-shaped console table, ideal for placement anywhere in the living room. The diversity of the range allows for a flexible layout in which individual elements can also be combined to create visual unity. The metal frame used in the Torii family elements evokes the image of "Senbon Torii, a wooden colonnade forming a gallery of 1000 purple torii gates", reminds us of Nendo.
